I love the music at the begining, really brought back memories. I loved the battle toad games, and this flash. there should be more flashes like this where you choose the path.

Intresting story

The Story is very intresting, although that is about it, no real work put into it since it was a sprite movie, although you did a good job of keeping the story intresting, the flash is kinda short and there wasnt enough action.
I give it a 2 out of 5. not bad but nothing new.
One suggestion, you should spend alot of time on the fight scene, the key is to have awesome looking fight scenes in these flashes.( see super mario Z)
oh yeah, nice selection of music, I always loved the music from Sonic adventure One.

Very well done short

Cool short, especially the part with the snail! lol

Nothing wrong with it at all, ways you could improve, um... make it longer I guess.
One of the coolest things I noticed was how well the music drummed up the events, such as when everything got quite on the desert rose song just before the building blew up then the metal began! Although I am a huge fan of your power star series, its nice to see you still have talent for drawing and animating things, I mean the reason most of us make sprite flashes is because we totaly suck at drawing characters and stuff and we dont know anyone willing to draw for us. One last thing, do you think there will be an attack of the birds 2? :p

It needs alot of work

Well, it wasnt very good. I'l start with the positive, the backgrounds were cool, they definetly could've been better but not bad at all, there was variety in the weapons you saw the soldiers using, and the video was very colorfull along with some decent voice acting.

The things that needed work were, well, lets see... the characters looked weird and messed up, thats one of the biggest problems really, from upper backs that looked like curved fishing hooks to hunchback soldiers, they looked really dumb, also, it seems as though somone had Halo's spartans in mind when they drew them. There was no real story aswell, just random violence that looked plain stupid and laughably bad at times, And No, The 1/2 paragraph with vast amounts of grammar errors at the beggining does not count as a story. Im not really one to care whether or not people use proper grammar when writing or typing, but when your making a project such as this with so little writing is it so much to ask that flash makers check their spelling at least once before submiting it as a finished piece of work? Not only did the characters look like a poor version of the spartan's from the Halo universe, everything did, war space ships, everything. It's not a bad thing if your going to use a sci fi theme but you cant have characters that look suspiciouslly like master chief if you use a sci fi theme, unless of course you are making a Halo fan project.
In a nutshell
*Needs a story
*The Characters need some serious work
*The action scenes need to be improved
All bad points aside, it is still much better than I can do, even if I have never attempted to learn flash, I lack the art skills to even make one scene from this short flash.
I would rate it a 2/5

Hell no, this aint no turd, it was actually a little bit entertaining, dont get me wrong it wasnt a masterpiece but far from a turd.
seems like who ever awarded this turd of the week is trying to send a negative message about sprite movies.
